earth-friendly beauty

The Ecotools 5 piece brush set.
These brushes are so soft and super affordable. The set includes a mineral powder brush (2nd image), concealer brush, eye shading brush, a baby kabuki (3rd image) and a small cosmetic bag (the cream one, not my lovely flowery one).
I got the set for £15 in the pre-christmas sales, it retails for around £20 usually. You can buy each brush seperately too.
The mineral powder brush has been a lifesaver for everyday use. My oober fussy skin really loves how evenly it puts on the foundation and the good coverage it gives. I'll be honest, I don't use concealer as my skin just hates it...but the brush is there if I ever need it ;) The eye shading brush is the perfect size and makes blending eye shadow really easy, I can't wait to try it out more. Then, the baby kabuki is really similar to the foundation brush, but will allow heavier foundations to be applied better. Finally, the little cosmetic bag is just a handy extra to keep it all together.
I would love to try more expensive brushes, but I'd really reccommend these to those like me that can't justify anything more pricy just yet x

Topshop Navajo hood army jacket. A perfect jacket for the not-so-cold weather as spring approaches (though currently theres snow everywhere!). It caught my eye mainly because of the hood, as it adds a bit of uniqueness to the army jackets I see everywhere.
Also wearing purple skinny jeans from H&M, they are by far the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn as the denim is sort of stretchy. I pretty much live in them.
My Ninjasaurus T-shirt from TK maxx, its weird and wonderful and thats just how I like it :)
Finishing off with some burgundy Toms, which shall have to wait for dry weather. They tend to be a love or hate sort of item, personally I think they are cute and I hope to have a small collection of all colours one day x

Dare to be different

Trying to show you Topshop petite heart and arrow jumper, failing to be sensible in front of the camera!
I got this to wear on christmas day and in a couple of sizes too big as I like jumpers baggy. Its been a new favourite in my wardrobe every since, its so warm and comfortable. The dark grey is so easy to wear in winter and the heart pattern adds a cute touch.

Also wearing Barry M lipstick in 132, pinkie gold sparkle. Its a lovely soft, girly colour with a nice shine like a lipgloss.
